Educational Trip To High Court
On 25 May,2023 a group of students from our school had the unique opportunity to visit the High Court for a session on Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse. Honorable Justice P. S.Narsimha, a prominent advocate for child rights, presided over the session. The students witnessed the legal proceedings and gained insight into the complexities of such cases. Justice P.S.Narsimha emphasized the importance of awareness and reporting, highlighting the need for improved legislation and support systems. Following the session, Justice P.S.Narsimha launched a series of interactive videos addressing the issue. These videos, created in collaboration with experts, aimed to educate viewers about recognizing signs of abuse and providing support. The visit left a lasting impact on the students, empowering them to protect children and advocate for change.
Earth Day Celebration
Earth Day is an annual event that is celebrated around the world on April 22nd. It is a day when people come together to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our planet and taking action to address environmental issues. The school organized a range of activities and events aimed at raising awareness about environmental issues and promoting sustainability. The day began with an assembly in which students were given a brief introduction to the significance of Earth Day and the importance of protecting our planet. Later in the day the students participated in activities such as poster making, essay writing board decoration and collection of dry waste. The day serves as a reminder that we all have a role to play in protecting our planet. By taking action, whether it's on an individual or a collective level, we can make a difference and create a more sustainable future for ourselves and future generations.
FIT INDIA MOVEMENT
Keeping in mind the importance of physical education in a student's life and under the "Fit India Movement" program Happy Home Public School, conducted many sports activities for primary and middle wing students to integrate fitness as an essential part of school curriculum. Firmly believing in the all round development of the students and to promote 'Fit India Movement' amongst the learners, the school took an initiative to aware the students about the importance of physical education in one's life and it commenced with the sports activities like playing kho-kho, volleyball and yoga sessions for the students to ensure that they apprehend the significance of yoga in their lives. Despite these activities, the school also ensures that the learners engage in physical activity (in any form, dance, sports, yoga, etc.) every day for one period to foster fitness amongst them.
AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSHAV
India celebrates its 75th Independence Day as ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotshav’ to commemorate its freedom. The day is of immense pride and joy for all Indians. On this day, we at school celebrated our heroes and freedom fighters those sacrificed their lives for the nation, to bring us the freedom, peace, and joy. The school celebrated the 75th Independence Day with great pride and enthusiasm. The day started off by distributing national flags to the students. The dignitaries hoisted the National Flag which was followed by the National Anthem. Worthy of its effort, a systematic Tiranga Yatra, Poster, Slogan and Collage making activities were conducted which signified Methodology and Perseverance. Everyone’s hearts were moved with the pride and enthusiasm.
TREE PLANTATION DRIVE
Students of HAPPY HOME PUBLIC SCHOOL participated in tree plantation drive with great Zeal and Enthusiasm. Students brought various saplings to be planted in the school garden and raises awareness and consciousness about environment among the masses. Tree plantation is not just something that should be done; instead, it is a necessity, the urgent need of the hour. Planting of trees is especially important to protect our environment against air pollution and global warming. The drive was a huge success, empowering students with substantial knowledge of environment and plants.
KARGIL DIWAS
Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed every year on 26 July to honour the brave soldiers of the Indian army who selflessly laid down their lives to safeguard India’s borders. This year marks the 23rd commemoration of victory at Kargil. The School observed the day with a series of activities aimed at remembering the Glorious deeds of the martyrs. A special morning assembly was organized, which was started with English speech and poems by the students followed by a documentary and a quiz to pay a rich tribute to the fallen heroes and to remember, rejoice and renew the faith in Indian Army.
Van Mahotsav Celebration
Our school celebrated Van Mahotsav week from 1st July to 7th July, 2022 in the school campus. The celebration was an ideal opportunity to instill the value of social responsibility in the students towards safeguarding trees and forests. All the Students took pledge to keep the surroundings neat and green.
The students of classes VI- X participated in different activities like plantation programme where different types of medicinal plants like Neem, Aloe Vera, Basil e.t.c. were planted by the students.
Students also participated in poster making, slogan writing and collage making activities to promote environmental awareness on the topic 'GREEN EARTH, CLEAN EARTH'. A special assembly was also conducted where students presented speech, poem and recited song to spread awareness to safe guard our environment and preventing further desertification of the mother earth so as to create a world that is pure and safe, free from any danger.
