Art is an invisible part of education which helps children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision making, risk taking and inventiveness. "A child paints with his brains and not with hands." The art room in the school is organized, productive and supportive with classroom rules, arrangements and teaching methods which create an environment that encourage students to enjoy and appreciate the visual arts.
"A Library stores the energy that fuels the imagination." It opens up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve and contribute. A huge library having rich collection of 14000 books by foreign and Indian authors to improve our quality of life. Our library is the collection of diverse material, information's that supports active, authentic learning to ensure that children develop the information literacy skills crucial to the their success as students and as lifelong learners.
Physics lab is a well-designed lab with lots of critical space for natural movement and flow, where experimentation is an integral part of the core subject. It provides the students with background to the experiments of physics. It furnishes imparts controlled conditions in which scientific or technological research, experiments and measurements are performed by the students.
The school has well equipped, maintained, instrumented chemistry laboratory, in order to foster scientific temps and spirit of enquiry in students by letting them test and verify various technological research, experiments, theories and principles of chemistry.
The lab is furnished with well – equipped instruments microscopes and informatics about unicellular and multicellular organism. The laboratory is a key component in understanding biology. It provides students with opportunities to question, observe, sample, experience and experiment with scientific phenomena in their quest for knowledge of living things.
The computer lab serves as the center for teaching or for creating technology- based projects. It is the new model of integrating technology into the curriculum. Our school provides separate computer labs for each wing. Students practice assignments and complete digital media projects. In addition, our computer lab is used daily as a part of our grade level intervention block. The computer lab is used as a resource to support students' achievements and helps them to make themselves tech savvy.
The playground of HHPS is a promising setting to promote children's physical activity for sustained health outcomes. It provides accessible physical activities , opportunities for all types of children in a safe, supervised settings. The school playground is divided into different sections, where students enjoy playing basketball, volley ball, cricket and practice skating, yoga, physical training etc. for indoor games. The sports room is equipped with latest sports items. Which helps them to play freely and develop social skills, individual creativity, experience happiness in an environment that is both stimulating to their imagination.
At Happy Home Public School, we try to make lessons come alive through smart classes, providing audio-visual exposure to the students by illustrating the information using photos, graphs, maps, flowcharts, and animated videos. This makes learning more exciting and easy to understand and helps the students to learn and memorize the topic for a prolonged period of time.
We in our school encourage the students to enrich their lives by learning Musical instruments which helps them in developing coordination, musical language , mastery of memorization and ultimately helps them in improving their overall work and personality.
Dance encourages children to actively participates in various events which encompasses dance in myriad forms. Our school consists of spacious and smooth dance floor which is well- equipped for the purpose. Healthy and safe dance practice is performed in the presence of trained teachers . Thus movements enhancing a child's creativity , intelligence, memory and sequencing skills along with the teamwork, focus and improvisational expertise.
"Home science education is worth life education". It is a dynamic and ever growing field of education. It is an applied field built upon both the discipline of science and humanities for the purpose of achieving the welfare and well being of the family in an ever changing society. We at HHPS help the students in inculcating meaning to life and refine the life for better living and thus building a healthy and developed country.
Safety of the students is the first priority of HHPS. A medical room has been especially formulated for the very purpose. Basic first aid facilitates are provided for the students whenever required. Parents are kept informed of the health status of their wards. The school infirmary is well- equipped with basic health facilities to address the health needs of students and on-site trained nurse is always to manage and assess any health issues that may rise during school hours.
